Putting in work where it is needed. What do I mean by that. Like I said in one of my previous posts. Treat your body as if it were a sports car. Example. I LOVE heavy dead lifts, but surprisingly I have a week lower back. So for the past month and a half I’ve been doing everything in my power to strengthen my lower back so that I am able to do multiple reps with the weight. Another Example. I LOVE muscle ups. But I fatigue pretty quickly. So in order for me to get better at them, I must work on them. If its dips, ring dips, bar muscle ups, chest to bar pull ups, anything really…I need to work at it! How do I get faster times on the WOD? Well, practice going faster in the workout. Your body will adapt to the conditions you put it through. For me, I want faster times in workout, so I must workout at 100% at 100mph so that I can get used to being in that state of pain. If you want to make your car go faster, find what needs to be installed and upgrade!
